St. mary's Glacier, Colorado

Julia and Ben wanted views, elevation, and water, because that is genuinely how they spend their time together. St. Mary's Glacier is my answer to that request almost every time, and it earns that trust. An hour from Denver, a mile and a half of hiking, and you arrive at one of the most consistently beautiful locations I know how to put a couple in front of. The glacier shows reliably, the water is striking, and the light at that elevation does something you cannot manufacture at lower ground. These two were easily comfortable with each other, comfortable outside. That ease shows. It always does.
