WEdding photography for Couples...

Who want Their day Documented the Way it Actually Felt.

Hi, I'm Mio.

Before photography, I was a bioinformatician, a scientist trained to find meaning in patterns most people don't notice. I traded that career for a camera, and I've never looked back.

What stayed with me is the precision: the preparation that happens long before your wedding day, the ability to read a room, to anticipate a moment before it arrives and be exactly where I need to be when it does.

I photograph weddings as full experiences, not single-day timelines. That means I want to know your people and your places before I show up on the most important day; which is why I travel to engagements as readily as I travel to weddings. The couple who is at ease with me before the ceremony is the couple whose photographs reflect something real.

What I care most about, beyond the craft, is the experience of being in front of my camera. Most people aren't used to it. They arrive nervous, or tired, or carrying the weight of a long week, and it's my job to make sure none of that shows up in the photographs.

I pay close attention to how people feel throughout the day. That attentiveness is, I think, what my couples remember most.

I'm based in Denver, Colorado. I ski, I obsess over gear, and I

will always prefer to stay for your last dance. I take on a select number of weddings each year, enough to give every couple the full depth of what I do.

This work is, right now, everything to me. You'll feel that.

who this is for

I work best with couples who have held a vision for a long time and want a photographer who takes that vision as seriously as they do.

My clients tend to be design-aware and emotionally present. They care about how their day looks and how it feels. They are not looking for someone to document the timeline. They are looking for someone to document the truth of it.

If you want photographs that feel inevitable, like no one else could have made them, we should talk.

Mio was actually a dream come true. The one thing we really wanted for our wedding was a fun party and beautiful pictures to look back on and Mio delivered x1000000. He goes above and beyond for literally everything that he does. He even drove us up a mountain himself to get the perfect engagement photos.  He makes you feel comfortable in front of the camera, he has a vision, and he is so much fun to be around.  We gasped seeing our wedding photos. He made us and our loved ones look amazing but we also had such a blast taking them. He is more then just a photographer -- he is a  visionary and we are very happy to say a friend as well. We would highly recommend Mio to anyone we know!

We’d recommend Mio a thousand times over. From the moment we met him, Mio brought this calm, creative energy that made the whole day flow effortlessly. He wasn’t just our photographer; he became part of our experience - laughing with us, hyping us up, and fully immersing himself in every moment. He captured our Halloween wedding exactly as it felt - raw and real. The photos are stunning, but what we’ll remember most is how genuinely he cared.

I don't think I can put into words how above and beyond Mio goes for others. I've been able to work with Mio and have him capture some of the most important moments of our lives including him flying all the way out to Italy to capture our elopement in the Dolomites which was absolutely incredible.  His work is incredible and so is the experience that you get when you work with him. I don't think I would recommend anyone else to shoot your day.

I HIGHLY RECOMMEND!! You absolutely need to hire Mio right now!  Working with him was an amazing experience - his communication, planning, and thoughtfulness made us feel comfortable and excited. Mio anticipated every situation and made it easy for us to have fun resulting in stunning photos. His attitude to serve others in everything he does is truly impressive.
